After checking into our hotel, nestled in one of the coolest neighborhoods on earth (Forbes Magazine said it, and you're about to experience it firsthand!), we’ll kick things off with drinks on the rooftop. Picture it: tropical vibes, stunning views, and the energy of Cartagena all around you.
This is where the adventure starts and where you'll meet your fellow travelers—your new crew for an unforgettable journey. After some rooftop mingling, we’ll dive into our first night with a group dinner to fuel up for the excitement ahead!

Day 2 - Cartagena
CARTAGENA CULTuRE
Today, you’ll get your first taste of Cartagena as we dive into a historic city tour! Between the breathtaking colonial architecture and the charm of the picturesque Old Town, you’ll feel like you've stepped back in time while exploring the iconic walled city.
For lunch, we’re heading to a local spot in La Boquilla, where the views of the Caribbean Sea are unbeatable. Afterward, get ready for something truly special: a drumming workshop at a local music school that supports children and families in the community. It’s a chance to connect with Cartagena’s rich cultural rhythm while making a positive impact.
The night is free for you to explore the city at your own pace—whether it's dancing to live music, or wandering the lively streets under the glow of Cartagena's magical night lights!

Day 3 - Islas del Rosario
LAS ISLAS
Catch up with the crew over breakfast, and then grab your hat and swimsuit—we've got a day of paradise in store. We'll hop in a private speed boat and cruise out over the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea toward the lush, tropical Islas Del Rosario.
You'll have the chance to ogle Pablo Escobar's abandoned casino and even snorkel the coral reefs around one of his sunken airplanes! For lunch, we'll head to a secluded beach club where you can have a few fruity cocktails, play some volleyball, or kick back and relax in the sun.
We'll take the boat back to Cartagena; freshen up at the hotel before finding your friends and wandering through the charming, colorful streets.

Day 4 - Cartagena
rum & salsa
You’ve got some free time to explore Cartagena, and this is the perfect chance to dive into its bustling markets! Cartagena’s markets are the spots to find that perfect souvenir, so sharpen your haggling skills and get ready for some fun.
After soaking in the local culture, make your way back to the hotel and put on your dancing shoes! As the "Salsa Capital of the World," Colombia is all about rhythm, and tonight we’re heading to one of the city’s liveliest salsa venues. Get ready to learn some moves from the locals and feel the infectious energy of the dance floor.
We’ll wrap up the night with dinner at a cozy tapas bar, followed by a tasting of rich, flavorful Colombian rum. And since it’s our last night in Cartagena, let’s raise a toast and say, “¡Salud!” to an unforgettable couple of days before heading to Medellin tomorrow.

Day 5 - Cartagena / Medellin
A MOMENT FOR MEDELLIN
After a quick one-hour flight, we’ll land in Medellin, a city famous for its warm, welcoming vibe and breathtaking mountain views. Once we arrive at the hotel, you’ll have some time to unwind, recharge, and get ready for a delicious evening ahead.
Tonight, we’re dining at a restaurant that’s a must-visit for foodies! Known for its chic atmosphere and inventive menu, you'll enjoy everything from fresh, zesty ceviche to bold, innovative dishes that are sure to take your taste buds on an unforgettable journey.
Whether you’re up for a nightcap or want to head back to the hotel, it’s up to you and the crew!
*Note: Flight times from Cartagena to Medellin may vary. We’ll confirm your exact departure two weeks before the trip begins.
Day 6 - Medellin
COLOMBIAN COFFEE
There’s no better way to kick off the day than with a fresh cup of Colombian coffee—because no one brews it better than the Colombians! This morning, we’re heading into the hills in search of that perfect caffeine fix.
Did you know that 95% of Colombia’s coffee is produced by small family farms? You’ll get to visit one of these family-run operations, learning firsthand about the coffee-making process that’s been passed down through generations.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore the vibrant streets of Comuna 13, a neighborhood once known as the most dangerous in Medellin. Our incredible local guide will take us through his community, sharing how art, music, and dance have transformed it into a symbol of resilience and hope. We’ll cap off the experience with a ride up Medellin’s famous cable car for panoramic views of the city!
Day 7 - Medellín
MEDELLIN FOR ME
Time has flown by, but today is all yours to make the most of your final day in Medellin!
We recommend starting with a stroll through El Poblado, one of Medellin’s trendiest and most vibrant neighborhoods. Its streets are filled with boutique shops, art galleries, and plenty of street vendors. Don’t miss the chance to try some local snacks—grab a delicious arepa or empanada from one of the many food stalls. Then, head downtown to the Museo de Antioquia to admire the works of the famed Colombian artist Fernando Botero, whose signature exaggerated figures bring a playful, larger-than-life charm.
This evening, we’ll gather for our final dinner at a sleek, modern restaurant that puts a contemporary twist on Colombian cuisine. We’ll reminisce, share laughs, and celebrate all the moments we’ve experienced together. And of course, we’ll keep the energy going with a final salsa club night, showing off the moves you've picked up with your new friends.

Day 8 - Medellin
adiós
Where did the time go? Colombia, and this incredible crew—we’re really going to miss you (though we know it’s not goodbye, just see you later)!
If you’ve got a few extra days to explore, why not extend your adventure? Visit Tayrona National Park, where pristine beaches meet lush jungle, or take on the challenge of discovering the Lost City hidden deep in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. For something closer to Medellin, a day trip to Guatape is a must—climb the iconic El Peñol Rock for some of the most unreal views you’ll ever experience!
Still craving more of Latin America? The adventure doesn’t have to end here. Head north to Belize for stunning beaches and rich culture, or fly south to Argentina for a taste of world-famous asado and the vibrant nightlife of Buenos Aires.
